Watching the news may leave you feeling negative about getting a job after school. After all, there’s always stories about closures and lay-offs. But there’s another story – that’s employers crying out for skilled workers able to get the job done!
The government in Canberra has created a list of traditional trades that are experiencing a skills shortage – that means there’s more jobs than people.
This list is called the National Skills Needs List – and there is extra support for employers to take on trainees in these areas.
