Massive concerns are being raised over the working conditions for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Hundreds of thousands of migrant workers from countries including Nepal, India and Sri Lanka are pouring into the country to complete infrastructure in time for 2022 games.

KEY FACTS

 

The ITUC claims the annual death toll among those working on building sites could rise to 600 a year – almost a dozen a week – unless the Doha government makes urgent reforms.
